Brad Locke in ICU...

Just spoke with another reporter. Brad's injuries do not appear to be life threatening. He has a broken clavicle, bruised ribs, and some internal bleeding. He was t-boned somewhere outside of Okolona and it was the other drivers fault. No word yet on how long he will have to stay in the hospital.
In addition to Locke, and John Bond's son, my 4th grade daughter had a classmate whose mother got in a bad car wreck and her little sister was killed.</p>
As many of you have heard Brad Locke was in a car accident yesterday while traveling to Starkville. He is in the hospital and we’ll update you about his condition. I visited with his family last night and they were encouraged that it could have been worse and Brad was getting better. He had even talked about signing day with one of the doctors.</p>
Miss. State’s Gregg Ellis visited with me and offered well wishes from him, Coach Stansbury and <span class="caps">MSU</span> to Brad’s family, which was very classy. Hope you continue pray for Brad and his family during this time.</p>
One of the things that has always impressed me about this blog both during Brad’s time here and before when Gregg was with the Journal is the strong sense of community <span class="caps">MSU</span> fans feel and the way they come together in tough and good times. I was very impressed to see some of the kind comments below and I’m sure Brad and his family welcome your well wishes.</p>
Thanks to all who visit here and just as Brad would want until he gets back we’ll continue to give the Bulldog news here and look forward to hearing from you.</p>
