it'd be like the Masoli deal since he'll be in grad school. Supposedly one of Clemson's better players too.
should be eligible next year too, graduates this spring and plans to pull a masoli and find a graduate program clemson doesnt offer. he was a freshman all american had a huge soph year then got moved to outside lb (which pissed him off, main reason for transfer)his jr year and had some injuries.
Havent heard if theres any other visits other than us and KY but if we're the main two for his services and hes only got one year of eligibility wed have to **** the bed pretty bad to lose him to KY. Also hes from Mobile, AL

Clemson is spinning this as that he's leaving for family issues that he must move closer to home. He's from Mobile, AL. That line is obviously BS if Kentucky even makes the first cut.
I asked some Clemson fans about him a week or so ago. They all pretty much said he was a good LB, but limited physically. I think their opinion probably comes from him being injured last year.
He's good against the run, but struggles against the pass. He's headed for MLB. He also wants to blitz and attack, and Clemson's new DC is a little bit more of a zone sit back kind of guy.
Our biggest plus is our DL. We have 2 All SEC potential DT that hopefully can keep him freed up.

Get him on board, Dan. Should be a no brainer between us and Kentucky. Transfers and JUCOs get us some big talent in here.

You can't transfer when you have been suspended from the team for the year. He was suspended for the year at Oregon but then broke the law again so they kicked him off. If he had tried to transfer after he got suspended, the team getting him could not play him until the suspension was over.
Masoli actually got around the rule by getting kicked off the team therefore he would not be suspended for the year. </p>
