Word on the street is that the Iowa contingency is very po'd at the Brand's brothers. Rumor has it they may be getting the boot. Wouldn't that be awesome if we got them as coaches.

They have the attitude and maturity of a 16 yr old girl , they wouldn’t last 10 minutes in NJ. They also have cult mentality which is why they have beef with almost every great wrestler they’ve coached. Metcalf,Ramos, Gilman all hate the brands , Clark wants nothing to do with the program. Brands have arguably has the worst staff in the big ten ( Bobby Telford and Morningstar ) they lost the bassets and miller bc tom brands screamed at Mrs bassett and hung up the phone on her. ( let him try that with the Knox family). The last 2 Iowa recruited guys that didn’t completely breakdown and peaked as seniors were Corey Clark and Max Murin , every other Iowa guy has been grounded into powder and peaked as sophomores,Ayala is currently 5-5 and still has Davino and Jax . They don’t prioritize mat wrestling or scrambling, they still think wrestling live for 3 hrs a day is how you build champions and the recruiting has fell off big time at Iowa the past few years and if not for slumlord Bob buying all the transfers they would’ve dropped out of trophy contention years ago.
i Would rather Rutgers hire another coach straight from high school then see the brands here throwing temper tantrums and taunting the guys they are coaching against.

well Corby is the opposite of that , Brands can do no wrong.
If Brands got elected president Corby would be the White House press secretary. You’d see him up at the podium explaining in circles why Tom needed to curse that parent out and try to fight that fan and why it’s for the best for Iowa and the country that he did.
After season, it would be nice to get Dean Peterson on a podcast and discuss Iowa vs RU differences
