I went to the SP-MC game. Let's just say I hope we keep these guys as commits. Market seems strong as mule. He had several runs where he broke tackles and literally threw a guy down one time while carrying the ball. Brassell may be one of the fastest high school receivers I've seen play. He simply is at another level than anyone else on the field. I also saw him pancake MC db's on runs around the edges, so he is physical.

#2, Griffith (?) for South Panola is an absolute stud. I think he is a sophomore. I hope we are all over him.

Think I've heard the issue is grades. Can't see any other reason no one is after him.

David Conner, he's a sophomore. Conner will be a huge recruit with national interest. Griffin is a sr and will probably be in JUCO next year.

David Conner played for SP two years ago. He committed to Auburn and then signed with UAB. He never enrolled at UAB. He is at Northwest CC, but not playing football. Hoping to walkon somewhere next year.

Tony Conner is his little brother. He is a sophomore. Started as a freshman. He may be the best athlete in the state regardless of classification. Big, physical guy with ball skills and can run.

Qyen 'Sunshine' Griffin is a senior. Most likely headed to NWCC.

when I saw him play in high school. I'm not sure what his deal is, but I would sure take him as a walk-on.

The knock has been that he's a tweener.

CB size, ss/lb speed.

But at the end of the day, he is a football player.
