didn't exactly sound too ecstatic about being a rebel.I'm not trying to make myself feel any better, but there probably is alot to signing kids who "want" to be in your program.

but I had heard from a source that he seemed like he was going to Ole Miss more because he had to than he wanted to.

And by that I mean that his family was putting a lot of pressure on him to stay close to home since he has 2 kids in Batesville.

In his press conference, it sounds like he would've gone to Bama if not for the kids. I'd rather it not be that way, but if he can get in school with his buddies, hopefully he'll still be motivated.

Living in Auburn I know everyone is mad that Darvin Adams declared for the draft, but the dude has 4 kids. 4 kids and he's a junior in college. He basically had no choice but to declare for the draft. Kids are really one of those things where staying as close to home as possible helps because honestly, Brassell couldn't raise his kids by himself in Starkville.

Makes a lot of sense.

If it was a money issue, and we were in a bidding war, we would lose that war.

For the record the word I heard was via a friend who had spoken to one of NB's close friends about the situation. It's a game of telephone, but I buy it based on the way he handled the process.

And who actually thinks these kids live with him? They more than likely are being raised by the babies momma's momma. I'm sure the "extra money" is more of a determining factor than anything. Anyway, sign and place and we will hear from him in two years.

It happens all the time, and Ty Hilton was FIU's best offensive player this year. He's much better than your average Sun Belt player.
