Tonight Gomez for the Brewers pimped a HR like I have never seen before. Could be the most bush league thing I've ever seen. He mouthed around the bases to anyone that would listen. When he got to home Mcann was standing in front home to confront him. Benches cleared. Now am I the only one who wonders why the braves always find themselves in these situations? I'm not saying defending your team is wrong just pointing out it happens an awful lot with Braves.

Might be Maholm's last start as a brave. Rumor that he might not be on Braves postseason roster. Probably won't be back with Braves next season. Not a good year for State guys in the bigs..Mitch Moreland has fallen apart this year and his future with the Rangers is in doubt. They are about to run Paps out of Philly.

...for reacting the way they did. That was pitiful by Gomez. What a bozo

When Tyler Moore came back from the minors he hit well but Davey Johnson won't play him down the stretch. Watched Davey when he managed the Jackson Mets at Smith -Wills. Good manager but kind of smarmy.

Definite history there. If you re-watch it McCaan and Gomez started jawing at each other before the 1st pitch. Then Gomez swings as hard as he can and whiffs and stares down Maholm till he steps back in the box. Then the homerun and the rest you saw.

I find it interesting that this is the second time (Miami Marlins incident) that the Braves and especially McCaan have had words with another team right after a homerun.

Not a Braves fan, but I kind of liked what McCann did there. Gomez was so busy jawing that he was almost on top of McCann before he realized that there was going to be more to the story.

Could be very interesting. Although neither Maholm nor McCann will be with the Braves next year most likely, so maybe this will die out.
