it appears you will have a streaming option to watch Braves games this season. The article mentions a season pass and an annual subscription option. I'm not a Braves fan but I don't think I would pay $20/month for this even for a team I followed.

Cut off YouTube, Hulu, or Fubo for the spring/summer and pay $20 for Braves games. That’s a much better deal than we’ve had in the past. A lot of people paid $85-100 bucks a month to Fubo or Directv just for the Bally channels.

I’m one of them. From what I can see thats still my only option. I’m in a local cable area. I’ll be blacked out if I don’t do cable or FUBO. Lots of folks still think streaming will be cheaper for them. You only have to pay for what you want and all that crap. I remember when they broke up Ma Bell. That was supposed to be cheaper for consumers too…..yeah right. It wasn't and this won’t be either. You are going to pay through the nose.

Bally had a pay streaming service too. It was horrifically bad.

As a Hawks fan as well as a Braves fan the 24.99 option for a Braves/Hawks package looks good. The only thing I’m not sure of is it says the Hawks are available during the Braves off-season yet there is some overlap in April when both are playing games. I wonder if the Hawks would still be available in that case

I don’t see why they wouldn’t be available. It’s a streaming service.

Bally had a pay streaming service too. It was horrifically bad.

Not if you were in the Braves footprint. In order to watch in MS you still had to log in with your cable/streaming credentials. But I agree it was horrible. I used a relative’s xfinity login, who had both channels and the app would only let me watch games from one of the channels. If it was on the lesser one it would always say my package doesn’t offer that channel.

I’m going to subscribe thru Prime and hope that it will be a more reliable service through that platform and not as their standalone app
