Hayward trying to go home trying to get Puig tagging up at second... nowhere close or in time, in return conceding the baserunner to second. Then a missed dive by Gattis concedes the second run where he probably wouldn't have had to dive if the runner were at first. Then, Gattis with a WTF on the basepaths and gets doubled up.

Now as I type, Uggla's replacement booting a catch. WTF, guys. #Sucktober.

The plan was to get all the dumb stuff out of the way with kershaw since we'll probably lose anyway. Mac should airmail one to center to put Crawford on 3rd any second

Yep they duped me once again

into thinking they would do something in the playoffs.

Doesn't matter. Cards are stacked and gonna win it all.

17 it.

Atlanta has not won a playoff series since 2003.

Won't happen again this year. 4-0 now.

It's still early. With kershaw on the mound this was pretty much a loss anyway. No pressure mike minor, but if you don't win tomorrow the season is over.

I will be totally shocked if Atlanta gets to even 2 wins in this series. Until Atlanta can figure out how to use a bat past the second week of September, it will be the same ol' same ol'.

Hayward playing center, Gattis in left, and Johnson at second have not been these guys natural positions this year, and all three have defensively bit them in the *** (these positions are responsible for 3 of the 5 runs so far). Hayward HAS to figure out that he cannot go home on every play he thinks he might from right field. LA has challenged him and has won twice. So would I.

Leaving Uggla off the roster was stupid. Plain and simple. Just like the point I made 2 days ago when it was announced. How much more would leaving him off the roster hurt the entire team and we are finding out right now.

Atlanta will not win this series. I'm a Braves fan, but holy ****, I'm tired of witnessing these late season September/October meltdowns.

Bump for the awful commentators. You'd think it was Dodgers vs. Dodgers. The only mention of Atlanta was Medlen's poor start, Gattis, and a brief mention of the bullepen, then it's back to talking about Kershaw and Puig.

I told

you back in July or so. Atlanta has no chance vs LA. That **** that happened in may doesn't matter.

It bears repeating... Atlanta has not won a series in October since 2003. Poorly managed lineup by Fredi. Putting guys playing unnatural positions have cost Atlanta at least 2 runs tonight. Gattis is not a natural LF, Hayward has played very little CF, and Uggla's glove and leadership is missing bigtime. Miscues from all three positions have cost Atlanta runs. I think BJ should have been cut before Uggla.
