Man, that's a tough battle. Four blue bloods and Uconn
(I know there are Uconn lurkers here. Get bent).

More PT available here than any of his other choices, and likely more NIL as well. Get er done coach!
Nice list of four blue bloods right there.
Frankly despite being a “great recruiter” this is a group Cal just does not tend to recruit against very well (except for UNC sometimes). If it turns out Pope does beat out all these schools, I will be highly pumped.
Had zooms with all the finalist and getting a UK visit scheduled…hoping this a good sign. Don’t see any other leaked visits scheduled.
When I first saw him I thought it was a picture of Kellan Grady. Good luck Coach Pope.
Mason Gillis just committed to Duke. Hopefully that helps our chances.
Also, unless they've entered the portal UConn already had 3 young SFs on the roster for next season. They didn't play much, but that's kind of how UConn often does it. They come in, learn, and then are ready to go as a Junior or Sophomore. Plus, you said UConn is in the running for the freshman SF too. So, I hope that would make any SF from the portal start to think things were getting crowded.

Most of those teams are already full at the SF/F position. Unless they sell him on playing the 2G with some of those already committed players
Maybe 1 gets Brea and 1 gets McNeely. Win win situation there
Brea is a much better all around player than Gillis. Gillis just likes to shoot, hardly any rebounds or assists. Brea does a little rebounding and passing the ball, and lead the country from the three at about 49%.
So UConn - McNeeley
Duke - Gillis
KU - Griffin plus Mayo
UNC - Tyson
Is what it sounds like. Everyone gets a wing shooter!

Agree. A bunch of very recent titles does not mean importance to the whole history of college basketball.
Yeah, but I am selfish and want at least two.
That ricks guys is saying Kansas how the hell is Kansas getting him with 4 other wings they have coming in
I still belive brea is UConn or Kentucky and the other 3 are being used to drive up the price
Some new guy online, he has been correct a lot recently
Is he saying that? Or did he post a screenshot of someone else who was saying that in a DM?
Just about every player HS or portal is automatically a Kansas lean. WTF is going on?
