Can you blame him for confusing the two games? The 2014 game was like a continuation of the 2012 game! :D

The 2012 beatdown and last year's debacle were not a testament to outstanding coaching on Wisconsin's part. If an opponent's defense continuously puts a single player in a position to either make a tackle for a loss or whiff resulting in a long gain, it doesn't take a genius to exploit that again and again.

Not a fan of him but he is a good Coach anyone thinking other wise doesn't know football.

A few preseason mags have Arkansas and Nebraska playing in the Outback bowl....That would be a very good bowl opponent and a very successful season for Riley and his staff.

I never said that it was.

I never said you said it was. Sorry if my post implied otherwise. I do think Bielema is a good coach (and a d-bag) I was just reflecting on those beatdowns and it occurred to me that those weren't brilliantly coached games because they didn't need to be. It's probably a pretty obvious observation, it's just one I felt like sharing.

How may National Championships does he have at Arky and or Wisky?
The same as Bill Snyder, frank Beamer, Chip Kelly, and Gary Patterson combined. What's your point?

EDIT: I meant to say Brian Kelly, but Chip Kelly works as well...

The only ones that look bad are you fools that believe he's doing a good job at Arkansas. Come back and post the last time he had a winning conference record......

I don't think they had a good year, but would you say towards the end things started to click, they played a lot better and were much more competitive, showing a substantial improvement?

Well it sure wasn't poor coaching.

According to S&B this morning, Bielema actually called Eichorst and recommended Paul Chryst for the head coaching job. Interesting.

arkansas was better than we were last year. they played 8 teams in the top 25. Their last 5 games:

Lost 17-10 on the road to a top 10 Miss St team
Beat LSU 17-0
Beat Old Piss 30-0
Lost 21-14 on the road to SEC East champ Missouri
Destroyed Texas 31-7 in bowl game

That program was a dumpster fire after the Petrino motorcycle thing and John L. Smith terrible season. BB has done a fine job so far and if they're a top 20 team this year, which they have a good shot of, people in Arkansas will be pretty happy with him.

This is the right line on how well Arkansas was perceived, after 2014. The Razorbacks are expected to be better in 2015 ...

Once again, on what planet is finishing dead last in your own division doing just fine. Amazing what Nebraska fans find acceptable these days....

This isn't about what we find acceptable or not. It's about major progress. They lost to Alabama by 1 point, shut out LSU 17-0, destroyed Ole Miss 30-0, and pounded Texas 31-7 in their bowl game last season. They went from wining 3 games his first year to 7 games last year.

The guy isn't going anywhere but to the bank. Give it a rest already.
