"Instead he took a seat and started breaking down Dylan's recent commitment to play for Mississippi State (not Brett's Southern Miss). He talked about the Bulldogs' coach, Dan Mullen, and got down deep with some back-home college football talk. They might as well have been sitting on a bale of hay outside Hattiesburg.

"Miss State's got it going, huh?" Brett said."

and get a good education. Will he be a starter? Probably not unless we have some injuries. He will start at holding for PATs and FGs at some point and that's important. I mean that.

I didn't see as giving us love but more along the lines of "Are you sure you want to go to Mississippi State? Southern Miss is my school etc..."</p>

I wasn't necessarily trying to imply he'll never see the field. I was trying to say that even if he did never see the field, we will get quite a bit of good free publicity from him being at State, and that's a great thing. And if he does hold for PAT's, Brett Favre's name will be mentioned every time, guaranteed.

And that would be huge. ESPN interviewing him on the sidelines, etc. I'm sure this played into the decision to offer him. Besides, you never know what happens when he gets up to Starkville and starts working out with the coaches.

as far as an OC, or with Koenning, Hudspeth, or Hevesey for that matter. If Brett wants to be a QB consultant, I'm all for that.

Or maybe not, given how reckless Favre is at times. He can get away with because he's Brett Favre.

So what if he rides the pine for 4 years? You can't buy that kind of publicity.
Word on the street is that you don't know a hell of a lot about buying anything since you bummed your tickets off others most of the time.

Wasted scholarship and you know it. Can't wait to hear you ***** and moan when we don't have any depth at QB.

Your just a stupid fock and you know it.

He moved in and out of Old Waverly after the cigar boys picked Rockey.

Personal favorite MSU urban myth.

some two star out of state bimbo with no major offers that we could have signed because he was theoretically the proper size for the position.

even OM fans will be trying to get those tickets for the chance to see us lose to Southern. it would be disastrous in so many ways.

the atmosphere on that day will be crazy. i will definitely fly in for it.

He could grow a few inches. Take a red shirt year, grow, improve and you will never know. Heck it is my understanding that Farve got a scholarship to USM as a favor to his dad. (Possible Urban Legend) You never know who will pan out and who will not.
