Wow. A head coach who shows emotion. What is that like.

PS. Is assistant coach was talking crap to the ref. Has Flood ever showed 1/10th ofNth emotion? Nope he's a pu$$y

Remember ND told him he needed to calm down on the sideline and he apologized and said he needed to change etc etc

Does the "chip" in your name mean that you're introspective and self-honest enough to realize you have one massive chip on your shoulder? If so, that would actually be pretty cool.

Seriously, that's one massive inferiority complex you've been sporting around the forum lately. You don't have to keep trying to prove something to people, ya know? It's an anonymous message board; nobody cares.

I dislike ND a lot, but I completely understand where he's coming from. ND couldn't afford an unsportsmanlike conduct or sideline interference penalty at that point in the game. He ran over and made sure that didn't happen. He was saying "I do that" meaning "I'm the one who complains to officials". If Kelly's flagged then everyone rightly comes down on him. If his strength training coach is flagged it's still on Kelly. Let Kelly be the one who chooses how much to push the refs - it's his team. He didn't hire an assistant to talk to be in the refs' ear.

Exactly. A bunch of jealous softies on here who just hate Notre Dame. The man can flat out coach. I get that he looks like a jerk but guess what? So was Lou Holtz. And Bear Bryant. And Bill Parcells. And Vince Lombardi. And Spurrier in his prime, etc. He loses to ranked teams? He just beat an undefeated ranked team on the road tonight. He lost to Clemson on the road by less than a FG. The guy has coached his team to a national title game and did it having to navigate academic admission standards that are more strict than ours. But let's keep hiring nice guys. Worked out great with Flood.

This. Kelly was right to be upset and say something to his assistant. Probably shouldn't have shoved him but in the heat of battle and in the urgency of the matter (wanted to get him before a flag), plus Kelly is a known maniac, that's how it went down. I'm sure as far as they're concerned, it's over.

Total alpha coach. Wins. He grabbed his shirt. Oh no. How terrible.

We have a politically correct NE university with a beta coach. .500 is OK.

Next coach will probably be transgender, to appease the liberals.
