Spieth has all of the sudden become a choker in final rounds in majors. Complete ish show to start his final round.

MK left two shots the last twos holes. Could've tied Spieth. Gotta capitalize on those ops cause if Spieth gets going he can pull away. But as I type this Spieth hits a bad tee shot.

I would like to see somebody else get to -6 so the Chinaman doesn't backdoor his way to a win if the weather turns really bad.

Spieth with birdie and eagle now. Kucher with a birdie. Down one. Wanted him to win but will be tough now.

Spieth plays as slow as a turtle but has the guts of a warrior. Just has that extra mental gear nobody since Tiger has had. Give him props for gutting it out when about anyone else would have folded.

Eagle putt on 15 won it for Spieth. That looked like a 30 footer that he dropped right in the middle.

So, who wins more majors Spieth or McIlroy? Thinking we will get more Spieth answers. The only two guys on the scene that could realistically get to double digits in majors at the moment.

As long as you believe Spieth gets one more in the next five years, that puts him ahead of Rory's pace.

And if Spieth conquered the mental hurdle of overcoming bad shots today, he could go on another tear and get 2-3 in a short time frame.

Still, Rory is one up, seems more "talented" and is barely 28. Might go Rory, just because as we've seen, "just one more" major is impossible sometimes.

I think Spieth gets more. Rory doesn't seem to have the same drive. Both have the talent to get to 10 but I don't think either will do it. Not many players have done it and fields keep getting deeper and stronger.

I think Spieth gets 10 and Rory 8. Kind of a cool think to watch as I age sloooooooowly. :golf::)

Think you're right.

My guess is Spieth and Rory end up with 7-8 each.

So many great players, and remember, you only get 4 chances a year to win a major.
