I think Spieth gets 10 and Rory 8. Kind of a cool think to watch as I age sloooooooowly. :golf::)

I definitely wouldn't bet against those numbers. Rory needs to get back on track. He's gone 3 years since his last major unless he wins at Quail Hollow next month. The injuries and off course distractions can keep you from hoisting a trophy as years pass by.

Rory still a force to be reckoned with, and not even 30. Spieth may well be the best putter I have ever seen. Ben Crenshaw and Tom Watson were in his class, but JS is just unbelievable.

Pretty much everyone except the most anti-Tiger fans thought he would break Jack's record, and we see what happened there. Jordan getting a dozen would be a monumental task given the depth of the tour...since his first at Augusta, there have been 8 different players win a major.

Are you ok? You made several good posts on here and FB lately? Did you fall down the stairs and hit your head.

Well I'd like to think that JS is pretty well grounded... Maybe he gets to a # that stirs the "record" conversation ... He still has 25 miles to go for you Edwin Starr fans.... Will he let his 15th club get him in trouble a la Tiger? Maybe? Dat tang has been mans undoing since Adam and Eve... Good luck Jordan.

I still think parody still rules the day. Lots of good players out there. JDay and Dustin Johnson aren't done either. Birkdale fit Jordan's game well, as it does not reward bombers.

Bombers did well for the most part in terms of birdies made...Bubba was T2 w/ Spieth in birds w/ 17, Matsuyama and Schauffele had 16, Rory 15, Day and Hend 14....

All of the leaders, even the "non bombers" hit less than half of their FIR. Irons and flat stick trumped the field.

Those saying nobody doubted tiger would pass jack... I said over and over he had to change his swing to keep winning into his 40's and 50s as jack did. he didn't and we are seeing the consequences now.

When he won his first masters Freddie couples told him he needed to change his swing or he would face the same fate as freddie did.

That's what jordan has going for him. he wins with his mental toughness and accuracy, not by "overpowering" courses. That means he will be consistent and compete year in and year out. It also means he won't tear his acl and Achilles swinging a freaking golf club.

Odds are against him catching jack, but I will submit that he will win consistently for the next 15-20 years. And at this point, he doesn't have a tiger woods type force working against him/taking away majors...
