I agree coach. I have to ask you this though...did ND beat us twice???

Emotional high for that game...then lose and have a hangover from that loss?

Cards did not come out ready to play and looked a little slow to the ball or is SMU just that much faster than the Cards? IDK....plus I didn't observe a lot of passion or aggression in this game.

Playing from behind at home takes the fans out of the game at times too. AS CJB stated...everything has to get better and IMO get better fast.

Starting the season with those 2 cupcakes followed by a bye was not a good formula for this team. We look off for it.

SMU is that much faster on both sides of the football. I thought at one point in the 3rd quarter the Mustangs showed some fatigue, but it was short lived.

Brohm is coaching like he's already where he thinks he should be, and that is simply not the truth. I remember watching Purdue games and there was creative plays a plenty. I was envious because Satterfield wasn't getting it done.

But here he is and we're as predictable as ever. He needs to get back to being underappreciative and have these defenses guessing where he's coming next. He's not there yet as these two losses prove.

Besides the obvious things about how the defense isn't functioning as a unit top to bottom, I think I heard a shift in the offensive philosophy coming. From run the ball to setting up play action to spreading it out and throwing it around, opening up the run.

Petrino 1.0 if the Oline can give Shough a few more seconds,JB can get the tight ends involved and we can sprinkle in some screens. For the second week in a row the wrs have shown they can get open. When a coach says they're not gonna run it anywhere on 4th and short anymore, maybe he's going West Coast...maybe 🤷 wishful thinking on my part.
