I wish Gretna had not dropped the Bees. Playing a decent 3A school is better than playing a 1A school twice. Come playoff time, VHSL points matter.

HR 6 Your right playing Altavista twice does Gretna no good . And it's definitely not going to make them better .

Believe it or not got just as many skilled players back and there young very explosive !!!

Very true, I was very impressed with what I saw.. BEE'S are very big upfront alot bigger than last year, I have tracked afew players, couldn't, recognize some of them, trust me, they all look like they have been in the weight room, the Salem Stadium was very quiet, it has never been that way, besides they are a major powerhouse defending State Champs, the Bee's ran at will and stoped them in the run game, forced 4 turnovers and score a TD, and had many others but dropped passes, the Salem fans did come to life after the 2nd,and 3,came to play. Good luck to both, Salem will get them selfs together, if not, the Basham kid will have a field day.

Salem doesn't play Byrd this year unless it's in the playoffs, so no Basham. (He will be exciting to watch on that new field turf)

Brookville should compete for the Seminole with Heritage, EC Glass, and Amherst.

Salem will be just fine. The last 2 years Salem has been a completely different team from preseason to postseason.

Salem has Magna Vista for the benefit so it should be exciting.

I was told by a parent, they have james Monroe, at home should be a good one.. They have history.
