Brookville beats Glass

Glass had trouble getting to Tanner Bernard all game long. If they go to him, they had trouble getting him down. That was the big difference in the game last week. After being down 17-0, Coach Woddy put Sophomore DreSean Kendrick in at Qb. He mad plays through the air and with his feet and scored on his first drive. Then on Brookville's next series he had a 70 yard int returned for a TD. MacCallum was inserted back in in the second half, but both quarterbacks looked good. It was good to finally see Glass offense get going. But, Brookville was bigger and stronger on the lines. Brookville's offensive line played better than Heritage's line when Glass played them. That will be an interesting game next week.
Just an observation. When people talk about Heritage High School its all about their offense. They have only given up 43 points in 5 games. Pretty good.
Oh yeah! They do have a really good defense. Good luck next week. It will be a great game.
Have they played a team with a lot of speed?
Looking at their schedule they held Appomattox to 14 and EC Glass to 14. To my knowledge both have good team speed. Should make for a good game Friday night.
Not taking anything from Brookville but, they don't have much team speed actually. Glaise (#11) and Thompson (#7) are fast but that's about it. Heritage will be too physical up front and running the ball. I don't think it will be close at all. But then again, I didn't think the Glass-Brookville game would be close either.
