In big games with SR, MC LA, and/or Marist does BR supply 2500 seats to the other team?
You are correct, we dont have 2500 visitor seats, but we'd let 2,500 in. Every game we have crowds standing along the fence on both sides as well as standing in the south end zone. I don't think any Marist fan got turned away back in August.

No neutral sites -- ever. I've enjoyed visiting schools all over the 8 county area ... Woodstock, McHenry, the 3 Hinsdales, Wheaton North, Naperville Central, Neuqua Valley and others. I sure don't want to go to that big empty ugly Toyota Bowl.

Note to gorice ... you have no gripe whatsoever. Three home games and you're complaining? Mt Carmel has to drive to another time zone and you're complaining? Your only road game is a couple blocks away, and you're complaining? I'm pulling for your school, but get real. Thank you.
You also are not an undefeated top seed playing a team you already beat and now having to do it at their house.

Tickets were on sale to the public at Marist on Wednesday until they were sold out. They didn’t ask you to produce your HS diploma in order to buy them. Two things I know to be true about any Marist Rice game will hold true here as well. There will be more people there than “capacity” allows and it will be about a 50/50 split.

You are being generous. 250 is being nice.
Having never attended a game at BR I can only go off the picture. I looks like if they move the trailer they come expand the seating to the light standard and at least the same distance to the right. A Queen of Hearts raffle would pay to bring the stadium up to standards and they would not have to take this annual abuse.

Portable bleachers are an option. A particular college in the CCIW puts them out on their track for the games.

Zero class? Nothing could be further from the truth. Your opinion is based on the fact Rice's visitors seating? If that's the case, MC is bottom of the barrel with Carey Field.

Hey now Gately visitors hold 4,000 comfortably! I remember standing on a gravel track when BR first started playing at home! Kidding aside Rice are gracious hosts, very kid friendly, too friendly actually it’s like Romper Room down there sometimes, but very good hosts. I just don’t get the tiny visitors seating because they can stretch it 20 more yards on each side. But let’s discuss this in January when it’s the off season

Does anyone ever use Saint Xavier’s stadium for High School games? It’s within walking distance of BR I beleive?

I don't think they can stretch it as it is on McAuley property. Other than this board I don't think anyone really cares about the visiting stands at a school as other than parents of kids not many go to road games. Back 15 - 20 years ago an MC v SR game maybe would see that big crowd that would fill Gately or Rita.

This is why MC is electing to play at MC more, cost and the fact that attendance is down except for a rare game or two each season.

Why would you invest in seating for 1,000 fans if they will never be there. At Rice there is plenty of room to stand and see the game. Not ideal but it is what it is.

With Gately rental and buses it’s over 4,000 to play at there. You play a Lower level team you recoup about a grand. Not worth it, might as well have it at Carey and make money. Next though with the new Blue Division and Rice and Loyola coming in...then Gately is an option

I wouldn't go as far to say that the good folks at 99th and Pulaski are classless, but it seems that every school that plays there has had their issues with hospitality or their stadium workers, specifically. I know CCL schools have had issues with workers forcing coaches to pay for tickets because they didn't enter with the team, or how one particular rival's headsets just never seem to work in the pressbox when they play there. Even heard an incident once with their field security needing to "see 2 forms of ID" (the stadium worker's word) to a school President that wanted to watch from the sidelines.

Again, not necessarily things that the school itself can control, but there always seems to be funny stories like that coming out from teams that travel over there. Spooooky stuff.

Maybe it came off wrong but that was my point i agree with this move 100% for MC.

Rice has been stingy to Marist in the past about tickets and seating so yes maybe no marist fans were booted away this year. In years past they have been.

The higher seed very rarely plays the semis at home. As far as playing a team you already beat I don't see how that makes a difference. 2004 and 2014 pc had to play mc at gately in the semis even thoough they were the higher seed and had already beat them. You Earned you #1 seed prove your worthy of it and go win on the road.

SR will be expanding it's visitor seating by moving the stands from the home side to the visitor's side and putting new stands a press box on the west side of the field.

Cool, now the CCL is using radio jamming equipment!! They do take their football seriously!!
