They have not denied it either. And there are several eye-witness reports it happened.
I have no issue with law enforcement releasing photos (which is how Charlie Kirk's killer was apprehended.) Speculating and spreading anti-Muslim rhetoric that isn't confirmed by any law enforcement operation is counter productive. If there was any verifiable data that the shooter shouted Allahu Akbar would be released by the FBI immediately. I'm not saying it didn't happen, I'm just hesitant to run with gossip and speculation, especially when all it's going to do is inflame half the country who already seemingly hate Muslims.

And this is MAGA in a nutshell. It has not been definitely proven what Kirks killers motivations were, but it is absolutely certain that he demonstrated groyper memes and slogans, along with other internet memes.
But, since the narrative has to be about trans or his sexuality, they completing ire that there is a lot we don't know about this kid, other than he was a screwed up kid, who did something awful.
This crap is dangerous and causes peoples lives to be negatively impacted.
If he wasn't such a flaming homophobe, I'd feel sorry for him. It's obvious he's unintelligent and uneducated, so I wouldn't want to pick on him if there's something intrinsically limited about him ... but his hate leaves him open for mocking.

I'm not sure this is a left or right issue. Clearly, or at least apparently, authorities are keeping information close. We haven't, or at least I haven't , even seen interviews with other students who were in the room. I tend to think that the authorities are doing this on purpose, other than accept that they are incompetent.
This whole thing will play out and then we can discuss with a little more knowledge of facts.

Many reports of the shooter having yelled Allah AKbar before the shooting. This has been neither confirmed or denied by authorities. It seems like it would be relevant information to finding the shooter and it is worthy of discussion. It should not be held back for fear of hurting anyone's feelings as there is an armed and dangerous killer on the loose and it should be top priority to get them off the streets.
Several instances from other situations have proven that getting the information out there helps capture the subject faster. Why isn't more information being shared?

I just watched the 12/16 press conference and I am amazed at the questions not being asked by the media. The first one is, now that they have videos, they also have witnesses from the room, Is the guy in the video the shooter?
next, what kind of gun, did they find a gun? did the shooter have a key card to get in? are they triangulating phone detected in the area at the time of the shooting?
anyway, the press conference now are just platitudes about how well everyone is doing
He wore a mask so they couldn't see his face and they previously reported that the doors to the building were unlocked.
