Braylon Mullins is out six weeks with an injury. I’m really hoping they will pile up a bunch of L’s early like they did last year.

Now, I'm not glad the dude is hurt, but UCONN can kiss my fat butt. Now and forever more.

You can tell Pearl has a lot of admiration for UK. Honestly if the political career doesnt work out, id love to find a spot for him here, maybe in the basketball operations area. But imagine him as a recruiter/assistant. Idk, I always kind of liked him

Because he was a squeaky clean recruiter? Ya ever been to one of his cookouts?

That almost bit Florida in the butt. UConn recovered nicely after that rough start last year and Florida had to ppay them in the 2nd round. UConn had them by the throat.
I'd rather avoid UConn altogether, they seem to have our number, especially in the tournament.
John Higgins would come out of retirement to ref that game if it happened.

Big loss for CBB when Bruce retired. Great basketball mind, and quite a character.

I do agree losing all of these guys is a loss. And so far we’re not replacing them with similar characters and I’m afraid of that. College basketball was so great because of the men in charge. Old school hard *** POS men who you either loved or loathed. Pearl was a total POS maybe more so than the rest, I know some things about him directly from one of the sources it happened. Really bad man, would definitely not allow my kids to play for him lol. However those guys made it so interesting. I love Mark but, I’m afraid he’s not spunky enough. Hope Pitino hangs around another 5 years so my sons get to remember him. Calipari chasing Pitino was such a fun era, just want the old guard back in place. Calhoun, boeheim, all of the POS. Just really missing the era. We’re replacing them with some really, really boring *** dudes. Maybe Mark picking a fight with the midget at Louisville will get it going.

Pearl falls somewhere on the tier under what I’d call the “old guard”. Didn’t quite reach that level because serious programs wouldn’t touch him. he’s closer to the Gene Keady? I guess? Not sure what other comparisons there are to him. But he’s definitely a character.

When Oats gets to a power program he will be the love or loathe type. I already hate the guy.

Yeah, there’s no up and coming Al McGuire, Majerus, Dale Brown, Sutton, Thompson, Carnesecs, Mears, Rupp, etc types.

Lot of good analytic types coming on.

But boring as hell.

I suppose he has to be very quiet and mum on Auburn. Tricky spot for him if they start to struggle under his son this season.... we shall see...
