As do I. Only other coach than Cal I will stop what I am doing and listen to. He, too, gets it.

Hope we beat them by 50 tmrw. Looks like that little seed Pearl planted in everyone's mind in the post game the last time UK played them will come to fruition. Expect Towns and WCS to have 2 fouls each in the first half. I despise Pearl and his antics.

I like the guy to. He may be a bit tarnished, but nothing like plenty of other guys who shall remain nameless who are still coaching in the NCAA ranks. I think he's good for the SEC. It needs guys like him, Dale Brown, etc. to stand up sometimes and make some noise. So what if they stand up to UK? We're the King of the SEC hill, and your not going to even get close to standing on top of it unless you do.

I like Pearl too... He gets the most out of his players and never seems to get flustered..... He has his guys playing their best ball.. He is a motivator...... I like him because he didn't have one bad thing to say about Kentucky when he was on ESPN, except good things... He made a mistake, but he that is without sin, let him cast the first stone.... The guy is a spiritual guy and I really like his enthusiasm for the game... Look for Charles to be there tomorrow....

It's fairly obvious that he is a top 3 coach in the SEC. It would be scary to think what would happen if he had the talent of an LSU team...

From what I have read, talent is on the way next year. We may yet see what you describe in a few years, maybe.

I don't mind Pearl. Told a friend this week "give Pearl a few years and he will have Aub. playing close to the top of the SEC". Some may not like him but he is a good coach.

He's a good coach but I am no fan of his. Glad he might be able to get Auburn turned around as that is good for the SEC but would never want him at UK like I've seen some others posting on here today. He's a loud mouthed jerk and you can see that come through big time any time the cameras are on him.

Doesn't that make him a good coach though? He's advocating for his team and doing what he can to try and even the playing field for his team somewhat. He recognizes that he doesn't have the talent to compete with UK so he has to resort to swaying the refs. Usually opposing coaches don't need to work too hard to sway the refs against us.

I dont dislike Pearl at all, he is a great motivator, and he has a passion that already has the auburn faithful excited. He always seems to speak a his mind, and he is always very complimentary of UK, he knows what he is up against tomorrow and admits it, listening to him is refreshing in a way. I think Auburn will be very competitive in the years to come.

The guy has been a very good coach everywhere he has been. Don't know why some are hating.
