He really shouldn't win his waiver in my opinion based on the rationale.

I'm sure part of that is true, but this open a can of worms for anyone that goes a decent distance away from home.

Mackey's the starter next fall. He's put up great stats at every level he's played in and he's looked great in practice all fall. He's going to be a star and would have probably started this fall if Masoli hadn't fell into their laps.Or at least that's what I heard all fall from a few Bear posters.
