These things sort of go the same way. If a team had a good year last year, the BTN guys tend to puff them up. If they say today "they need to develop depth there" or "these summer practices are key for that group" you know we stink at that position group in their eyes. If they actually mention a name in a position group though, that guy is probably a player. If gerry talks about "matchup games" he means we will get blown out in the other ones.Just Rutgers

Seems Defense way ahead of Offense. Not shocked but not great to hear
For hoops ?Gavin has grown and exudes confidence. Penciled in a 10th win.
Remember however that in past years Dinardo would speak glowingly at RU camp and the team would tank. Hope his track record of being wrong continues.Denardo quote: “ I don’t know how much they can throw the ball. If they don’t have a really good run game I don’t know how they get to 6 (wins).”
Hardly a positive comment about an improved passing game.
This. I like these two (three with Revsine). I think the series is cool (although interesting how they'll do it with 4 west coast teams soon). But I take a lot of what they say with a grain of salt. It is very easy to put us into the "worst teams in BIG" box. So I think it is rational for them to be a little guarded on our prospects. But using my BTN decoder ring the lbs are legit impressive, the transfer wideout is a player and, we are better overall, including importantly on the ol. If a couple of things break right we could have a decent year.Remember however that in past years Dinardo would speak glowingly at RU camp and the team would tank. I’m now more skeptical about our prospects for throwing the ball. I want to hear some independent person who is free to talk to say that Wimsatt is more accurate. All this game manager stuff doesn’t matter if you can’t hit a receiver.This. I like these two (three with Revsine). At the very end, Cioffi's was mentioned and thanked.I think Schiano summarized it nicely in that in the end it all boils down to having better B1G athleticism and talent on the field than your opponent.
More importantly though, I was surprised there was no mention of Cioffi's (yet?).

Yeah, seemed like an after thought, and maybe they downed it really quickly.Didn't show the food this year
Not exactly a ringing endorsement of our QB’s passing talent after watching the team practice.Denardo quote: “ I don’t know how much they can throw the ball. If they don’t have a really good run game I don’t know how they get to 6 (wins).”
