Does Amelia's varsity run basically the same plays as the JV? A lot of screens and sweeps?

They run some screens but they mostly throw it down field. QB is pretty good but pressure up front had him throwing on the run every play. When he did have time he threw some nice passes.

They definitely have athletes they were just overmatched up front on both sides.

Don't run a lot of sweeps, more of off tackle, timing patterns and deep balls. Like BCKnights said, we were over powered. They were missing their play caller ( best defensive player in my opinion) at corner that could have slowed the Knights down one step. After seeing Buckingham, not so sure Appomattox are the top dogs. What team are you referring to for a match-up?

Ragland had 188 on 16 carries Friday night. He has 1601 on the season through 8 games. Appomattox held him to 54 in week one. And he only had 119 on Monday at Bluestone as he only played the first 3 offensive series. So he's averging around 235 in the other 6 games.
