Some things never change. I had problems with Michael Wardlaw when he published Maroon & White magazine. Paid $30 for a one year subscription, and never got but 3 issues (and two of those were after repeated attempts to reach Michael by phone. He never returned my calls, and the only times I got to talk with him were when I would call at night or on week-ends and his girlfriend would answer the phone and say "sure, he's right here" and give him the phone. He would then make some excuse and ultimately would send me an issue in a manila envelope. As you can imagine, this was very frustrating. So, when he started BDJ, I had no intention of sending him any money, and the only time I was on BDJ was when he offered a free, short time subscription.
