I can see this both ways and need the right answer. I guess I could call the BC but I don't feel like it. Does your donation have to be in by April 1st or your pledge by then?

The pledge counts towards your points for this year. Your amount paid to date is used to tally your cumulative points for years past.

Therefore, say you've pledged $1000, and paid $200 toward it.

Your points are $1000 * 0.012 for the current year.

Cumulative points would be amount paid previous years plus $200 for this year * 0.008.

If you're worried about fulfilling "Cost per seat" obligations or other such matters, then just the pledge. If you want to maximize your priority level for the ranking, then the money needs to be in.

That help?

Oh, and if you (anyone, not just you dawgpound11) want to join the BC or up your pledge, please let me know. I'm on that fund raiser deal, and no one I've called is coming off the cash. Something about a poor economy.

... as long as my pledge is in, I can still buy the number of football tickets allowed for that pledge level?

but, if you contribute the entire amount of your pledge by April 1, it will give you better status in the BC...I guess that would matter if you're trying to improve your tickets. If you're like me and keeping the same seats, all you have to do is make the pledge by April 1.

Making the payment by April 1st only improves your total points. So, if you pledge $1000, you get a 12 point boost for current year giving. If you pledge and pay $1000, you get a 20 point boost for ticket rankings.

Once again, if you have any cards or new member pledges please let me know before 5 pm Monday so I can get them counted before we freeze the football ranks.

I'll email him and let y'all know what I find out.
