David Longstreet, his wife, and four children were involved in a tragic accident. Their youngest child did not make it and the other three are in critical condition. Wife is okay and David has a broken vertebrae but is expected to be okay. I don't know any details other than they were hit by a drunk driver.<div>
</div><div>(David was our mascot back in the 90's I believe. He was the Bully that became famous for fighting another mascot during a game. Can't remember at the moment which game it was.)</div><div>
</div><div>Please keep their family and friends in your prayers.</div>

did not make it. They were struck by a drunk driver while going to church. His wife is physically ok, David has 2 cervical fractures, and his 3 boys are in intensive care. The driver of the other car has been charged with felony DUI, he's 26. That's all I have right now.

How are you driving under the influence at 9am on a Sunday morning?

I wonder if it was a long night, dude caught a couple hours of sleep, was driving home and still legally intoxicated. That would suck for all involved if true.

I believe he lived in South Carolina. I went to high school with David at Forest Hill back in the late '80s.
