I like the timing...

If we take care of business against USA and Kentucky, we'll be in the #15-#18 range when Tennessee comes knocking. Win that one and Mid Tenn St and we are Top 10 for Bama. Lot of if's, especially after last night's performance, but I'm glad we cracked the poll this week.

Exactly what I've been preaching. Three weeks to take care of business. 15 - 18 going into Tenn and IF we play A game and knock them off we are scratching 10 - 12 going into Bama. Lookig nice.

Hell if we win those games, some teams ahead might lose, I may be drinkin the cool aid or what not, but that could be a top 10 matchup going into Bama.

I pray, Pray, PRAY... that if Bama is fortunate enough to get in the BCSNCG, they play N Dame or Stanford...

That might be worse than what we just did to Arkansas...

Where did that come from? Couldn't find a good thread to brag in this morning, Tusk?

I agree though, Bama appears much better than those teams

Is Troy #24?

Our game was that close.

Still, had we not dropped so many passes, we would have been able to continue several stalled drive and I figure we would have scored at least a couple more TD's.

Not sure why, but at Troy our wide receivers seemingly switched away from meeting the ball with their hands (thumbs in) to trying to catch the ball in a basket (thumbs out). We didn't do that against Auburn, and in our first two games this season I was excited to see us catch thumbs in like many other successful passing teams over the past several years.

Last year and vs Jackson State and Auburn this year, our pass catching had improved over 2009. Hope our new WR coach Brewster isn't switching the way we catch the ball, because everything else I had seen from him so far was positive.

I am SO glad that we have USA, Open Date, and Kentucky the next 3 weeks. Give us time tune up, rest, etc. before the meat of our schedule. We should be 5-0 going when Tennessee comes to town.

nah, doesn't have to do with braggin' on Bammer, I just hate it when voters overreact like that (esp when it's ND or the Pac 12)...

I'd love to see them get pounded by anyone...fwiw.

I think it was because of that highschool stadium and the lighting. First true night game and to have lighting like that made looking the ball in difficult.

I was halfway teasing about beating Stanford/ND that bad... but, the game would likely be over by early 4th quarter... i think the disparity in (quality) depth would be really telling vs either of those 2... that being said, Saban's style of offense generally doesn't allow for a ridiculous amount of scoring.

I really don't think it's going to matter who you play in the national championship game. It's going to be ugly. This may be the best team Saban has ever had, including his years with the Dolphins.

i've been following Bama really closely since the mid to late 70s, and (adjusted for time, era & parity), I have never seen so much talent so well coached over there... it's like the freakin' Borg over there... If I had any Photo Shop skills whatsoever, I'd Fark the Hell outta that.

Thumbs should be out when ball is delivered low. I think the receivers didn't completely look the ball into their hands.

I'll be sold on FSU if they beat Clemson by 4 touchdowns next week...

and completely shutdown the Clemson offense... and they may just do it...

If LSU gets some big plays they certainly can beat Bama in Baton Rouge...

FSU has certainly surprised me......

and I don't think Bama's D has been really tested yet. Problem is, there might not be anybody who can and if that's the case, doesn't matter anyway.

Until proven otherwise, FSU is for real in my book. But these seemingly invincible teams have a way of just completely choking on any random Saturday.

I'm going to have to disagree. FSU has higher level SEC like defense. Don't underestimate them.

They've always had loads of talent. I think what you are seeing is developed talent. 4 and 5 stars that have been developed

Yeah, but the same thing could have been said about them. If they hadn't turned the ball over, they could have scored a couple more td's
