I was not able to make the game last night but was told from a friend that the Golden Eagles played hard/left it all on the field. I am so proud of this team and all they have accomplished this season. That is attributed to a good coaching staff and getting these kids to buy in to the new offense that was established last season. The Golden Eagles finished up the season at 6-5 and tied for 2nd in the conference. I will take that any day of the week being an East Davidson graduate. The future looks bright when you have a returning QB/RB returning who both ran for over 1,300 yards this season. Congrats on a great season Golden Eagles!!!

Congratulations to East. That team plays hard. Hopefully the dissension in the community about your coach will dissolve. He’s a good coach and a better man.
Dang it…I was hoping ED would win and advance to the second round….really good year EAGLES!!!
Had a chance to speak with East's DC this morning and he too stated that our kids held their own against Bunker Hill. Our coaching staff has done a phenomenal job with those kids this season. They definitely have the program heading in the right direction.
