Bunn vs Northside-Jacksonville

Northside (Jax ) is one of those teams you would not want to see in your bracket. I wonder if they have ever missed a playoff.
If it's close at the end, watch the game clock VERY closely

Don't let those 3 loses fool you. Better check who they were to. The Monarchs are for real and battle tested. Athletes everywhere and are pretty big for a 2A team. Don't know if Bunn has seen to many teams like them. They better be ready because the Monarchs will bring the wood. They coming with a attitude because they on the road which they are not used to doing come playoff time. Wasn't Randleman supposed to be a good team? See what happened to them. I think that the Monarchs will get to the 3rd round.
Dont let the guys from Shelby see this....they will hijack this thread and all you will hear is Shelby this and Shelby that for about 2-3 pages
They can all they want. They sure as heck better be concerned about either three of these teams if they meet them for the title. Clinton will beat the air brakes off them now ED and Northside it maybe a little close set but not much. They don't see teams like this.
Hoping Bunn wins for the simple fact i would like a chance at revenge from last years regional final.....also dont really wanna play NSjax again its hard to beat a good team twice in one year and they are a good team that passing attack was giving us fits early
I do not know anything about ns Jacksonville but I know Bunn. They are well coached and will not beat themselves. If Northside wins it will be just because they are more talented. Bunn can hurt you in all 3 phases of the game. Coach Howle and his staff do it right in running their systems and preparing their kids on a daily basis 365 days a year. Pulling hard for the wildcats.
If Clinton faces anyone in the West in the final. They are that good. They will be battle tested by the time they get to the finals because they have to play a really good East Duplin and Northside teams to get there.
I'm not at all a Shelby fan but the notion that anyone in 2AA can beat the brakes off Shelby is laughable. They haven't even lost to a 2A team since 2012 and none of them since then have been that close. They might lose, highly unlikely, but they definitly won't get the brakes beat off of them.
i agree with you that even if Shelby were to lose in a potential title game, that it would take a great effort to beat them. Shelby has been top notch for a while now. but let it be known that i hope "somebody" beats Shelby, in the title game or preferrably before. a few of the Shelby fans need some humble pie.
Oh yes....i dont usually badger a opponents posters after a game but if we or someone else beat Shelby i may get in trouble with the admins cause im going to let every Shelby(western poster) have it that day.....they really need a nice crow sandwich along with some humble pie....wayyyyy too cocky for my liking
In my opinion this Bunn vs Northside game may be the best 2AA or 2A game in the state Friday. The DarkHorses defeated Northside very early in the season and normally I'd pull for a old ECC foe in the playoffs but I sure would like to see Bunn in DarkHorse Stadium December 2nd with the DarkHorses sending the Bunn coach off to his retirement DarkHorse style.

Now would I love to see it, yes, do I believe it will happen (beat the brakes off of anyone in the west) no. Can we win, sure but I just don't see where anyone can be so over confident against a potential team that like another poster said hasn't lost to a 2A class team since 2012.
Not beat the brakes off of, but Clinton has the ability to beat anyone out there. Was really impressed that they can pass when necessary. Once I saw them do that against WRH, I became a believer that they have enough to beat the west elite team.

The west rules from 2A-4AA(especially the 704). The east might get one or two when the west DONATES a triad team.
NS is a hurdle you are releived to get over (if you make it) and no one is in a hurry to line up and take their turn again. there is a reason people say they only loss to NS or we beat Ns (pay attention to the ones who can say that ) because it is a measure of your caliber. I think they will be able to get the job done roll on ecc
I thought Northside could beat Bunn though I wanted to get another shot at Bunn advancing to the 3rd round is good!
Playing teams like Clinton, ED, And havelock really are paying off this post season for the Monarchs. I've been around the program since the opening of the school. And northside is never a team you wish to see in your playoff bracket. Should be a good game next week. Hard to judge especially with the first game between Northside and Clinton being early in the season. Northside defense has really been great. And Clinton is just Clinton. If you are a Clinton fan you remember the old match ups. Should be a great one. Good luck to Clinton

Can't blame you guys wanting a rematch with bunn any good competitor would want that. Good to see the Monarchs have a good road win. First half we fumbled on the one and around mid field. Score still stayed at 7-0 at half. Fix the first half mistakes and this game could've been a lot different. Hats off to bunn though, very good running backs. Just lacked an O-Line. Playing these tough teams early really helped now. Excited to face you guys next week.
Hard to beat a good team twice in one year with that being said get ready for a battle next Friday Night.....Truth be told a rough start against North Lenior last week maybe woke up a sleeping Giant tonight i watched a Championship caliber team and they looked good
