Mike Tirico was right when saying the GM and Coach needed to take control of their franchise from Brett Favre. Green Bay did what it needed to do.

from last week. In said play, he fired a bullet into traffic from his own goal line then sprinted 50 yards down field following the play to throw a lick on Patrick Willis. It definitely elicited a fist pump from my recliner.

and while I agree with you that Green Bay made the right decision in the long run, Minnesota looks pretty damn good right now. I think tonight was more proof that Favre dominates on Monday Night Football, but I don't think it will be an indicator of his performance over the entire NFL season. He dominates on a big stage, and I hate to admit that, because his diva retirement ******** every offseason makes me sick. But the bottom line now is the Vikings are 4-0, and the Pack is 2-2.

Yep. Favre looked good tonight whether you like him or not. And his team looks strong.

-The Vikings have had a complete team, except for QB for a couple of years now. Their defense is dominating, while Adrian Peterson could possibly be the best RB in the NFL. With a QB who can stretch the field, the Vikings could be unstoppable.

-The Vikings play inside. Brett's biggest problem is that he's old, and old people don't like cold weather. In the 2007 NFC championship game, I saw him get old right before my eyes between the 4th quarter and overtime. In New York, he was playing all-Pro ball until about the 11th week, when the weather got cold and he got injured. For the rest of the season, he plays 6 more games in the Metrodome, and plays two more road games inside. Minnesota plays in 72 degree weather, and if they get homefield advantage, Favray won't have to get cold.

the majority would be within 10 yds of the goal line still.

Loved watching the game last night. Favre was a blast to watch and still is. As much as people hate his off-field antics, no one, NO ONE doesnt like to watch him play the game

watching him play is fun. He just looks like a kid on the playground during a game.

The off-season circus was the media's obsession for definitive answers that didn't exist. Favre didn't thrust himself into the spot light all summer long. The media drug is all through it. I was way sicker of hearing the media obsess about Farve, then obsess about the obsession.

i agree with flabloser. anyone who has a problem with brett favre (other than the people who have just always not liked him or something like that) are plain and simple haters. brett favre didnt approach the vikings, they approached him, if he wants to play and a team is willing to start him why shouldnt he play? its his life, its his choice-its not for fans to say leave your legacy where it is-its his legacy he can do what he wants with it. he didnt call the media and ask them to come to oak grove high school, in fact im sure that annoyed the **** out of him. brett favre is good enough and established enough to start for a team without going through training camp, and people hate him for that. the dude SHOULDNT go through training camp, he knows the offense and his body can only withstand so much as it is. people hate him because he is so good he can win the way he wants to win, play for a team until he chooses not to, and skip training camp. i wish i could do that, im willing to bet that anyone that wishes they could play nfl football wishes they could do that, therefore it is my opinion that anyone who hates him for doing these things is a jealous hater. long play brett favre

And, Jared Allen is a rare breed these days. I thought the days of the white defensive end were over, much less one that is dominant and gets a lot of sacks.

i don't care who he's playing for, i'm going to watch him. period. he's one of, if not the, most fun qb's to watch play the game. all the drama just adds to the excitement.

the guy is having a good time, talks about how fun the game is to him, and shows it all the time on the field.

the best part about the off season crap is i just change the channel.
