I think the player we need the most out of the two is Carr. If Butler were an elite defender (he's not), then I might think differently.

He is tho, especially on the perimeter. Ziegler shot 11 3's against us...of course he missed them all but 1 so it didn't matter, but he wouldn't have had 11 attempts if butler played.

Defense is more than steals.

But yes, for this game carr is more important. We can do without butler against putrid offensive teams like UT and Arky. You need him against bama, auburn, Florida

I’m retired and I try to make dinner for my wife and son every night. By the time I’m finished making dinner my lower back is ready to just go out and be done. Just standing for 45 minutes does it in.

We certainly will need solid contributions from everyone against....well...honestly. anyone.

Cats don't have the luxury of a couple of get a basket guys. On the other hand we don't have the concern of those guys going cold and no one knows what to do. Coach's statement on 'when or if' Butler comes back kind of threw me for a loop. There are tons of rumors I know...shoulder needing surgery, ankle injury (which may explain some of that loss of lateral quickness that has been very well pointed out)... and of course the 'locker room, superman syndrome, head not in the game' talk that always gets magically dribbled around.

Truth is we had two legit experience point guards and a freshman we could bring up slow when the season started. Now...well...it's really mad scientist time for the Coaches...Williams as the 'true' point? Robinson? Bit of both?
Gonna be wild one way or another.
