Jarvis's record will influence the committee to give us an at large bid.

I am going Buy. I think the selection committee is going to want the NCAA's all time leading shot blocker in the tournament, and will give us a bid over another bubble team if it is close.

It certainly won't hurt us.

Was it last year the talking heads wanted to see Davidson in because of Stephan Curry but the tourney committeedidn't give them an at large bid? Can't remember how much of a bubble team they were though.

If it's a dead even tie between us and a no name craptastic team, then yes. If it comes down to us and a team with name recognition, then NO.

If we end up being a "true bubble team", that means we've likely ended the season on a pretty solid winning streak with a victory against UK and/or Tennessee. That being the case, we would be a bubble team on the up, rather than a bubble team that lost NCAAT tourney value late in the year. The committee likes teams that are hot over their last 10 games rather than cold. I think that factor would play to our benefit much more than any publicity JV brings to the table.
