Big buy. We didn’t just lose to Kentucky. We got whipped in every aspect of the game. Showed up flat, effortless and sleepwalked thru a beating.

Huge buy. No one expects to beat bama and it was closer than previous years. I go into the kentucky game expecting to win

Sell: State fans want to beat Alabama regardless.

We don't expect to beat them but we would like nothing more than to beat them. Ask any east Mississippi fan.

100% buy. We would have just chalked it up to another bad performance and moved on. It's the fact we scored 10 offensive points aGAINST Kentucky is the issue and it repeated itself vs Bama.
Normally I would buy but this Bama team makes me sell. They have been scored on by opponents so much more than past years. We continued to have almost zero ability to get into scoring position with an offensive minded coach. I had hoped we would at least score between 14-17 points and give Bama at least a moment of concern that we were competent. As usual, they basically mailed it in the entire second half.

Buy. Bama has been a sure loss since Saban first got his recruits in there.

Sell. Until I see a reason to think otherwise, I expect our offense against Alabama to be abysmal. In the past 15 years, we've had one-and-a-half against Bama where our offense was competitive -- the 2017 game and the second half of the 2014 game. Here are our point totals for every game we've had against them since 2009 other than '14 and '17: 3, 10, 7, 7, 7, 6, 3, 0, 7, 0, 9, 6. And here's the total offense from those same games: 213, 299, 131, 256, 197, 393, 274, 169, 270, 200, 299, 293.

The offense in the Kentucky game sucked regardless of the Bama game. Yeah, Kentucky's defense is stout. Second in the SEC in scoring and total D, 16th nationally in opponents' TD-per-drive percentage, etc. And yeah, we were somehow in it late in the game (turnovers and timely defensive play, probably). Still. The offense was awful that night, Bama dud or no.
