At this point what have they proven? They put up 40 on both their opponents (which means I think they will kill us), but they havent played anybody. While State is no juggernaut at least Auburn has played a semi-big game. Both LSU and Auburn have great defenses and suspect offenses. They both have questions at qb. The game is on the plains. This will not be a blow out. Plus, Auburn is is gonna run all of their good plays in this game, right C34?!!!!

And that Nat'l championship team of LSU's had to beat Auburn on the last play of the game. It's all about the QB play. To me, these defenses are equal, and Auburn might possibly be better on D. LSU might have a slightly better Oline, slightly less stupid spread scheme, and a slightly better QB. This game will be close and I wouldn't be shocked at all to see Auburn win. It's not like LSU is going to put more than 17 pts on the board</p>

If Auburn has half the mistakes (turnovers, penalties, missed FGs) they had against us and USM, this will be a three TD game easily.

So LSU won the championship last year, but they had to win on the last play against auburn AT Baton Rouge. A smart person would speculate that LSU was better last year than they are this year. Auburn SHOULD be better this year than last year (ranked #9). The game is at Auburn this year. So put down the corndog and tell me why LSU will blow them out.

since we beat Auburn on the road last year, we should have beaten them at home this year.

1. I don't care what Auburn's ranked, they're not a top 10 team (and won't be at the end of the season).
2. Auburn's offense is not better than it was last year. It's worse.
3. Auburn's defense, while damn good, is still not as good as LSU's defense.
4. Since you apparently put so much reliance on the polls, every poll ranks LSU higher than they do Auburn.

if you will refer to my post I only used Auburn's ranking to say that they SHOULD be better than last year. Rankings dont mean much to me, but the people who vote would say that Auburn is better this year, and I would imagine they would say that LSU is worse. I think this is more about trying to say State sucks than anything else. I get it, STATE blows. Any respectable SEC caliber team should have put up more than 3 points against us. I think everybody wants LSU to blow out Auburn so they can shoot out another email to Greg Byrne, and I'm all for anything that will make our team less like a sideshow.
