Buy/Sell: Mullen has to have a winning record vs SEC West next year.

In 2014, we will be on the road against LSU & Bama (unless they change up the SEC slate again) and Johnny Football will be a JR which means he should be even better. I don't see LSU and Bama dropping off much the next two years either. So, more than likely, 3-3 is a best case scenario in the west. More than likely, AU will be back on track to being a consistently above .500 team as will Ark and possibly OM as well. The west is most likely going to be much tougher by 2014 than it is now.
By 2014, a realistic goal should still be a .500 or better record in the SEC. And don't give me a bunch of crap about a defeatist attitude either. As Coach34 pointed out, it took Spurrier a long time to build SC into an "elite" level SEC school and his rise has conincided with a down UT and UF. Not to mention, SC has more resources than we do.

Sell. Barring the greatest recruiting class in the history of the SEC I don't see it, and I'm fine with that. Until we don't have a weakness at every single position, mostly from the first 2 seasons Dan was recruiting here, we won't win many of the 4th quarters in games like last night.
Auburn. How long will it take a good coach to turn them around ? Don`t they have a bunch of off-the-field problems and while I`m asking, they`ve had good recruiting rankings but what`s their real talent level ?

Mullen has beaten Georgia for the first time since the 1970's
Mullen has led us to only our 2nd NYD bowl game since the 1940's
Mullen is the only State coach since the WWII with a winning coaching record
Mullen is only the 2nd coach in over 100 years to lead us to 3 straight bowl games
Miss State is the ONLY SEC school with a losing overall record in it's history. The ONLY one.
It took two HOF coaches 13 years to build South Carolina's program, which has more resources than we do- yet you think Mullen should do it in less than half of the time?

??? I don't understand. What is the rest of the question? If you mean he has to be over .500 in the west or people will be pissed, start calling for his job, etc., then hard, hard sell. It only matters what he is overall. 7-9 wins and he calls his own shots for the duration.
