1. After the game, Crooms say he just got out of the way this week and let the coaches coach
2. JB Grimes say we ran the Spread on Saturday
3. We had one of our best days offensively in Crooms 5 years

Easy buy. Saturdays game shows that Crooms has been the problem all along- not Woody (as most of us knew anyway) Standing in the way of progress for 5 years should get you fired

If I'm Omar Conner, I'm really wanting to take a swing at Crooms right now

Croom quotes from thr DJ blog....

On RB Anthony Dixon: "I thought he practiced better and was a lot more disciplined during the course of the week. He pretty much restricted him in the run game. We said, 'Hey, run the ball to this hole,' and after that, we got better."

Proving the fact that he is an I back, not a zone back.

• On adjusting after fallng behind 14-0: "You're always adjusting each drive. As I've said a thousand times, this idea of going into halftime and changing plays and doing all that, that's fantasy. Because if you ain't practiced it all week, it ain't happening on game day. We didn't change anything really."

I know this is the 3rd time he has said something like this on that subject. Every game I ever played in we changed something at half time.

per game it would show how clueless this overpaid clown is. From "we forgot who we are" to "I got out of the way". There is absolutely no rhyme or reason to the way he`s trying to administer the program. He literally wakes up in a knew world everyday and has shown that he has basically a flat learning curve after 5 years on the job. Edited to add : if anyone bothers to assemble that info send it to Byrne

If he really did get out of the way and let Woody do what he wanted, then it continues to prove he's the problem. Plus, as Grimes pointed out and I said last night, that was a completely different offense yesterday than anything we did all season. Another great statement to prove Crxxms cluelessness yesterday: "I was insistent we go back to some of our 2-back sets. When we did, we didn't get very much, so we had to go back to the 3 wide sets." In other words, he admitted his smashmouth I-form **** doesn't work, but when we SPREAD the field, we could run the damn ball and look like a competent offense.

in an offense like yesterday. Imagine the damage he would have done.

Like you said yesterday, these guys were unfortunate enough to be playing during Crooms' "learning" curve... IF he's learned anything yet. And that's a huge IF.

the spread. That could have been the best QB/RB combo in MSU history. But Croom made Conner put on the pounds to slow him down and ran Norwood up the gut like a 240 lb running back.
