Round 1 was a classic down there in Duncan SC. This year, the Rebels come to Charlotte. What's everyone's thoughts on this game? I feel Mallard Creek gets another win against a SC foe.

Ok! I believe your confused. Last time Dutch Fork Tommy Knotts played Brynes, they beat them 41-6 (What is he going to tell me?)
lock ray obviously knows very little about Byrnes! Knotts is 2-1 against Byrnes, all in the playoffs. Last game was at Brynes, a 41-6 domination in 2014. Byrnes also lost to Dutch Fork at home in semi finals in 2013. Only loss to Byrnes was playoffs his first year at Dutch Fork.

I think I underestimated MC a little bit based on the Dillon game, and now I wonder if I'm underestimating Byrnes a little bit based on the Myrtle Beach game? If so, 21-20 MC. If not, 35-14 MC.
Scott roll i was not denouncing your Championship which i believe you guys have a damn good program, although i give some of the Scot's a hard time. I don't quite understand why so many Scotland guys are always picking against The Creek?
Very young Byrnes team coming up 85 on Friday. Sophmore QB, I believe only 2 starters back on offense from last year. Quality program that is used to reloading so I expect a good ball game but size and depth take over in the 3rd quarter.

Mallard Creek should win this game. The win at Butler should have them on track. If they win this week it will be difficult for any in state team to dethrone the champs.
Dillon schedules nationally ranked Mallard Creek (twice).
Byrnes schedules nationally ranked Mallard Creek.
South Pointe schedules nationally ranked Mallard Creek, very good Vance, and Indy coming off of a all-time national record winning streak.
Northwestern schedules 4A champ Catholic and very good South Meck.
Marlboro plays 4A champ Scotland every year.
Myrtle Beach schedules Richmond.
Spartanburg, on the other hand, schedules West Charlotte, who's been in the bottom 3 worst programs in Charlotte for the last decade.
Spartanburg being 5A is just an ADM technicality. They're certainly not 5A in courage.

It's obvious you know nothong about NC or SC football. Spartanburg did not schedule West Charlotte, you must have them mistaken for Gaffney. Spartanburg has Byrnes and Northwestern on their schedule along with Westside and Gaffney. They also have a good team in from Georgia scheduled, the Etowah Eagles. So like i said before if they don't beat Byrnes they need to schedule some more 3A &2A teams from SC if they want to feel important.
Don't need to feel important. DO need to schedule relevant teams to maintain the national prominence. Byrnes and Southpointe certainly make sense. Dillon with a 37 game win streak and 4 straight titles also fits the bill. Butler is Butler.

Westside is ranked as high as #2 in some polls in SC and Gaffney is #4....Byrnes isn't even in the top 10. So if Mallard Creek lose to Byrnes then you know they would be dominated by the top tier teams 5A. By the way Spartanburg is ranked #6 in the state after losing all that great talent from a year ago. Just handle y'all business against Byrnes, if not i will be back on here to clown your OVERRATED team next week.
