We don't have a roster at all right now. There's plenty of room this year and it will help to have guys familiar with the system on the team.
the negative people can just root for someone else. I get the negativity yesterday we need to get behind our new coach. Plus someone named red bird claiming to be a kentucky fan how hilarious. Cornbread you'll be wanted in Arkansas, get behind our coach or just cheer for someone else. His results from the past don't matter until he coaches a game here stop all the negativity.
This. All these byu guys in the portal are nice but we absolutely cannot roll that group out vs the sec talent we'll face. With the nil coffers, we absolutely must do better.

Well. The Big 12 was a pretty darn good conf this past year. And has been on the past, but I agree.
Listen BYU made the tournament last year with these dudes... if anyone of them want to sign up for next season lets go.

I'm fine with a few but we need to pony up and get some better starting caliber guys. They should start by offering Reed, thiero and z the moon to get them back. That's 3 starters right there IMO and then you bring in a couple of other quality transfers and the byu guys as backups. The one guy woild probably start but he was 6th man last year so idk what he prefers.
How many guys do we have on the roster currently? Going to need to go all Coach Prime in the Portal this off-season to even have a team.

Again same people screaming they had, had it with one and done will cry because they won't have a roster full of 4 and 5 stars.
Some people fell in love with the number of stars. Cal for sure did. A handful of the fans did. I’d rather fall in love with the number of wins.
This. We have to have depth and enough to practice. People need to comprehend this. UK is going to get players. We always have. We can now legally buy them. We have the money. We are not going to get stepped over for talent.

#1 recruiting class! Our previous coach achieved (6) #1 classes during his tenure at UK and had 1 National Championship and 1 runner up finish. What is the goal at UK, win recruiting classes or win games? Our previous coach did not recruit to build a team, he recruited talent and hoped they became a team. I do not expect National Championships every year but do expect to see a fundamentally tough team that strikes fear in the opponent when we take the floor. Fan since 1969 and been to a lot of games and you could always sense the fear of the opposing teams fans and, I am sure, their coaching staff and players. That fear was evident up to 2015 but is now gone!
Hoping the fear factor returns with Coach Pope!
Everyone needs to chill. Until BYU guys start committing here, I’m going to assume they’re going somewhere else. Besides Jaxson Robinson…going to assume he’s coming to UK.
Is this the streaky shooter? If so, hopefully he finds consistency at UK. Will be so nice to know players for multiple years.
