everyone doesn't make snide comments when we win and come back from playing a horrible first half. We enjoy the win instead of revel in Stansbury's lack of coaching prowess.

Coach Stans did a great job at halftime preaching defense and for Steele, not Dee this time, to keep on shooting. I think we have to have those points out of the 2 guard.
I think it was a team effort and if anyone still thinks we are better off without the RSS, than you are CRAZY.. Great job by the RSS last night, especially after the referees took him out of the game early..
I give all the credit to Stans, hell he even drew up that sweet pass from the RSS to Dee for the backdoor cut..
Now lets win the next 3 in a row, we really need Deville back soon...

and I would like to say, good job tonight, coach. The team moved on offense. We ran sets. We moved the ball. I almost jizzed in my pants. I thought we looked great even when we were losing bad. We just couldn't shoot.Still have a ton of work to do on defense. We are really sloppy, especially when Sidney is in. Stans did well tonight. So why can't he do that more often? All he has to do to keep me happy is keep it up offensively, get a little more sound defensively, and not do the stansbury stall inside two minutes. You canlet the clock run down and still run your offense. Andtell Sidney to get in shape or GTFO. Idon't say this because I want him to leave. I just want him to do what he came here to do. Play basketball and stop hurting us on the defensive side. If Sidney can figure out how to guard someone and help his teammates, it will be a good year. Now let's just see if Stansbury can get some consistency with this offense.ronpolk said:

stop getting on here wanting people to tell you stansbury is a good coach because the team looked good for one game. We have looked like a good team maybe five times this year and the rest looked bad.That doesn't happen with well-coached teams so stop trying to annoint an inconsistent coach that can't get Sidney to play hard as some great coach. He's still below average until he can get this team to look like that consistently. We still had a lot of brain farts last night but that'scollege basketball I guess.
There are things in every game that can be criticized but there are also things that happen in the game that can be praised. There's a time for both but I think some on here won't ever be satisfied in just being happy that State won just because they were wrong. I thought we would get killed yesterday but I am delighted we won. I'm glad I was wrong. Some on here (Coach and others) think they need to be right all the time and never say the wrong thing so if they think that Stansbury sucks, then State needs to lose to make sure they are right. I know he says he's not that way but that is the perception. There's plenty of room for constructive criticism and critiquing but I think it gets way out of hand.
MSU, the basketball mecca of the universe. He should be the winningest coach in SEC history by now, not a meager #7 on the all time list. Maybe one day, MSU basketball will catch up to the success of all of our other sports programs in Starkville. Withthe "final four" talent (Stans brought that talent in by the way) that we have, it should be national championship or bust for Stans this season!***
