Honestly, being real, I could see it happening, the media would instantly attack the UK fan base, he would take his recruits with him and likely go on a big roll again like he did when he first arrived at UK. It's our luck and likely our fate.
Hard to argue with that, though not sure UK has the magic at the moment to lure a big time replacement. It would suck…for a year.
I think I’d take the trade at this point. I want my hope back.

I would boo louder than I booed Rick at any point.Imagine him coming back to Rupp the 1st time they're in the SEC.
Kentucky still is the best coaching job in the country. Just because Cal is failing doesn’t mean another big time coach doesn’t want the job. Trust me there are plenty that would leave top ranked programs and come to KentuckyHard to argue with that, though not sure UK has the magic at the moment to lure a big time replacement.
If cal leaves for Texas then why do UK fans get attacked? I mean the fans getting attacked for mediocre results is BS. How many year ms are fans supposed to just sit back and accept mediocre results without starting to make some noise. It’s not like national pundits aren’t also attacking cal and his antiquated philosophies at this stage. Make as much noise as needed so cal knows he.is no longer welcome here so he does leave for elsewhere. I’ll help the SOB pack and I hate packing up for a move.Honestly, being real, I could see it happening, the media would instantly attack the UK fan base, he would take his recruits with him and likely go on a big roll again like he did when he first arrived at UK. Agree with everything but "a big roll." He isn't going to do anything with elite talent until he modernizes his offense.Honestly, being real, I could see it happening, the media would instantly attack the UK fan base, he would take his recruits with him and likely go on a big roll again like he did when he first arrived at UK. Anybody hiring him now would be doing it 'hoping' a change of scenery will reinvigorate him. It wouldn't be for what he's been showing in recent years.Don't understand why they would want him, recruiting maybe
Yeah. I mean, assuming he's still here, I expect that next year he gets to fully recapture his old formula he's been chasing with the roster etc and will win some games...but only to get shown again the formula doesn't work anymore. It's be amazing for UK if he left w/o having to buy him out.
1. Shepp ain't going with him anywhere
2. But even if the rest leave...do you really think he's going to do great things there? Wagner and Edwards are great. But Dillingham is not a great team player IMO. Bradshaw is a long good player...but he's not a scorer.
3. Who is the bulk for them to anchor the paint?
4. Cal is still going to do his stupid iso ball, no zone defense, drive into a packed lane, no inbounds play, 2 fouls and you sit first half nonsene etc...
Lol. No way. You are high on blue kool aid.Kentucky still is the best coaching job in the country. Just because Cal is failing doesn’t mean another big time coach doesn’t want the job. Trust me there are plenty that would leave top ranked programs and come to Kentucky
