I work in Memphis, and from all the Memphis fans I know, they say that Sallie is by far the best shooter on their team. However, Cal hasn't been giving him minutes this year because he apparently likes the athleticism of his other players more.

So, CSN gets Memphis in foul trouble, and Calipari is forced to play Sallie. Sallie naturally goes off hitting his perimeter shots. It's basically Calipari's fault that Sallie doesn't do that more often. It'll be interesting to see if he gets a lot more PT the rest of the tourney now, since he's shown Calipari that sometimes it's nice to have someone on the floor that can hit a 3.

He actually signed with Washington out of high school but didn't have the grades to make it in. Went to prep school for a year, tried to get into Washington again, couldn't do it. Nebraska thought they could get him in, but he couldn't get into there either. Went back to a JC for another year and then committed to Memphis. It's been a long road for him.
