He has his final official visit scheduled with Michigan State in November 10th. I think this is still more open than anyone thinks.

Despite his riches, still has the competitive drive.


Don't know where his name came up, but have 'heard' his name as possibly going into coaching. Knows the game at an elite level, I mean penny lacked any ncaa experience but we see where he is now, same as Mike miller, patrick ewing, Danny manning etc

Ewing started coaching the girls and moved his way up or down, according to your perspective. Coached a while too as I remember...

Well, it gives the notion that at least Cal, being coach and essentially lead recruiter, still believes we’re in the Carey sweepstakes otherwise I don’t think he’d travel thousands of miles for no reason? (Not being combative , just my opinion)
