The Mothership has way to much influence on sports these days. I heard their basic cable subscription fee or whatever is like 4 or 5 times the next highest. Also, does anyone know if the new NBC sports channel is going to be on cable

whatever the hell that means.

The next thing that needs to happen is a SEC network; Like yesterday.

... until they know for sure whether or not the SEC will be a 16 team league in the next few years.

I'll be surprised if we don't see this within 2 years, if not sooner.

Who could we realistically add that would add anything to the conference? No ACC school is going to leave that conference. And nobody wants to touch Texas because of the Longhorn Network among other reasona. Oklahoma is going to stay with Texas and they're talking about starting a Sooner Network themselves. I don't see any other school that would bring in enough revenue to justify adding. I think the big 5 conferences are pretty much done with expansion. You might see the Big 12 add 2 more from BYU, Cincy, and Louisville. But other than that, and whatever happens in conferences no one really gives a **** about, I think we're about to enter a period of conference stability.
