If someone can't buy this dip they need to just discard any notion of ever investing in equities. This is a monster opportunity. Interest rates ain't going up any time soon.

I dont think everyone is poor and marginalized. I havent said or suggested that.
So much wealth is centralized with so few though, to the point that even those in the 80th% view themselves as close to not being able to maintain their lifestyle.

As for threads being locked- nope, dont put that **** on me. I almost never start a political discussion within a thread. Responding to something that is inaccurate/lies may lock a thread, but thats on the poster who submitted that crap to begin with.

It lost a 1/3rd of its value again today. Consumer behavior typically takes about 18mos to get back to normal at businesses that have some sort of virus or sick issue. See Chipotle recently and Taco Bell before that. Took 18mos on average to get the sales back and that's 18mos AFTER the food illnesses had run their course.

Just make sure you use today's interest rates to make the valuations of the past more relevant to valuations of today.

I couldn't believe you did that. You're just gambling buying a leisure stock at a time like this.

You should be adding to solid companies down here.

What's something good to get into after this crash? Yes, I'm foolish enough to take message board advice.

This is not a dip, it's the early days of a bear market.

No idea how low it goes, but I'm very skeptical that we are anywhere near a low. I'd be cautious about doing things that have worked during the 10 year bull.

They closed the market for 5-6 days after 9/11, I would seriously consider closing it until at least Monday. I said I wouldn’t be surprised if it didn’t bottom out around 18,000 before it was over, after what I’ve saw today I don’t know that 14-15k isn’t in play if there isn’t some good news in a week or so.

Carnival suspended operations today for next 60 days. Not sure what that means for the div.

not completely true. Carnival shut down their princess line of ships. Which is just
one of a dozen cruise lines owned by Carnival. Other Carnival ships In the Gulf, are near max capacity and sailing around the Caribbean today. Even with carnival offering future cruise credits last week.
