Can We Really Be A Good Team This Year?

basketball announcers continue to comment on how much talent we have and that eventually we will be a team to be reckoned with. I really, really, really do not think we will see it. Renardo is too big and does not evenhave the fundamentals of a well coached fifth grader. He needs another year IF he is going to be a player. He must drop 30 pounds, get stronger, and improve his approach on the defensive end. And IF we are going to be a team to be reckoned with the key is Renardo. So, basically, I think we could win the West because it sux anyway, then take a trip to the NIT and maybe win a game or two, then we are done. To me, that is the most we can hope for from this group this season.

No. We suck and furthermore outside of Bost they dont care.

I'm not saying that we're going to win the West, because it looks like Alabama is in the drivers seat there- especially since we lost to them at home, and Arkansas is probably better than us too. But I would say that we're better than Ole Miss, LSU and Auburn.

Now relative to the SEC or any other conference? No.

I don't think we can or will beat anyone from the East. If my math is right in my head, it looks like we're going to go about 7-9 in the SEC. That's me predicting that we lose our six games to people in the East, lose to Arkanas on the road, and twice to Bama. It could be worse if LSU beats us on the road too.
