Watching the Yankees/Nats...some 19yo kid named Juan Soto just hit a 400+ foot line drive...I’m guessing his age could be debated but Geezus. I really question 19, if only how the kid is built physically.
Of course, why go to Colege(sic) when you can play half a season in the minors then play big leagues.

And the Florida State quarterback who'd already played professional baseball (which shouldn't be allowed if you've been a pro in any sport). He played at FSU for about 10 years.

We can recruit Latin America but it would be pointless. Any player from there that is worth a damn is snatched up by a big league team’s local school/camp before they turn 17.

You can recruit the Dom, but most players worth a crap are signed at 16 years old & the others likely cannot get into school.

Can you imagine a Dominican kid with a 6th grade education going through the NCAA clearinghouse process?

Hey! .. I'm just waiting, any day now .. for Cord Sandberg to quit baseball and come back to play QB at MSU. Listed at 6-3, 215, think he's ~23 years old. There's still a chance.

Looked him up and he's up to AA this year with the 'Reading Fightin Phils' .. hitting .252 in 38 games.

I think Soto played in the Little League World Series a couple of years ago.***
