I just recently began posting on this board, and it seems I'm constantly posting now. The reason being is I am surrounded by rebels all day, as the entire office graduated from there, and I am the only Bulldog in the bunch, and talking to them about MSU sports is like talking to my beagle - they just stare at you with that blank look on their faces. My husband is no help to me 'cause he doesn't follow MSU, so I'm all alone in this big ole lonely world of mine. Anyway - that's why I've been posting so much, 'cause I'm starved for MSU attention and definitely some intelligent conversation, which is sorely lacking in this offce!!.

Now to my question - is it alright for women to cuss?? I know it's not appropriate, and I try really hard to watch what I say, but after following MSU sports for so long, it just sort of came naturally to me. I used to jump all over my kids if they said inappropriate words around me, but now that they are grown and gone, I find myself saying words like "da--"; "he--", with the occasional "sh--" thown in. Now, I won't say the really bad words, and I think we all know what those are, but if your a sports fan, and a woman, can you cuss? It just doesn't seem right to say "darn it" after being intercepted, or having 1st and goal on the 5 yard line and still not score; or saying "shoot" after losing at home to UM.

Your thoughts -

I don't know how anyone who is a fan of MSU athletics can't cuss. The lifetime of blunders is just too much to keep a tame tongue.

Oh, and someone tell this lady that Hell and Damn are in the Bible, and therefore aren't cuss words.

She can cuss all she wants....depending on what she looks like of course.

Seeing I don't have a membership to 'Swan Lake', can you ask her to post a picture of herself and at that point we'll decide if cussin is appropriate.

These aren't cuss words at my house. I suppose that will change when we have kids, but I hear these words in daily conversation all the time.

Cussing is F-bombs, GD's, and vulgar terms for female reproductive organs, which is not really a turn on for me.

(but really, what kind of kindergarten teacher considers these legitimate cuss words)

and this little fact is way more of an issue with me than any string of profanities:
told him I didn't need to have gone to the school to be a fan
