They must have made Matt Roth an honorary captain. Wonder if they presented him with a commemorative ring for their stirring 2004 Gator Bowl win...

Wyoming play calls have been pretty poor so far.
Hawkeye D limiting what the Cowboys can do.

Partly, but for some unknown reason, the Wyoming coaches seem determined to run right into the teeth of the Hawkeye defense and try to establish the run. When you have one of the best QBs in the country, you take a play out of Northwestern's playbook for beating the Hawks and dink and dunk your way down the field all day long, but that's not happening so far.

If this pace continues, Iowa probably pulls away in the second half with an unimpressive, low scoring victory. Another inspiring 7 win season and bowl appearance in the making for 5 loss Ferentz!

Seriously... is Wyoming trying to set a record for missed easy tackles, and Iowa still only has 1 score.

Ok little fella. See ya in November. Buh bye now
Why is this clown hanging on a Husker board during their game? Hilarious.

A 3-3 record against Nebraska since we joined the conference AND that 1 major bowl win in their last 50+ years against Georgia Tech in 2009 really has them feeling their oats.
You aren't giving the Alamo Bowl enough credit. With that being said the Huskers haven't won a major bowl in almost 2 decades or an appearance in one in 16 years.

This looks like typical Iowa to me. Good defense and a questionable offense, struggling against a lesser opponent in an early season game. So if they hold true to form, they will start the season slowly but gradually improve as the year goes on.

And lest we forget, Wyoming played us tough last year too in the first half.

But still have a better overall record than Iowa during that span.

They Can, but will they? I see it getting closer as the game goes along but Iowa will pull it out. I hate IOWA. I root for all big ten teams when they play non-conference opponents but not Iowa. I hope the lose every game!

My god, who were the brainiacs on this board who thought we should have hired Bohl as our HC. His team is garbage. Totally unprepared. Terrible coaching.
Some really stupid play calling going on under his watch today, in all 3 phases.

Should have been a shut out but I will take the W. The Bullies of the B1G are definitely back.
This is so funny... at least when Bo said "We're back!" It was after a shutout victory in the bowl game against Arizona...

Not after a first game victory over Wyoming. For your sake, Arb, I hope your team doesn't stub their toe next week. For the sake of just about everyone else on this board, I hope they do.
