but I agree that Aaron Rodgers may very well be the best QB in the NFC by year's end

Beachbum is right Drew Brees is by far the best Quarterback in the NFC or maybe the whole league with how Brady looked at times against the Bills
How can you say that about Aaron Rodgers when you only have 3 game winning drives and 2 of them are against the Lions and he looked lost most
of that game against the Bears till that last play.
Granted Drew Brees numbers last week were against those same sorry *** Lions but i would take him over Rodgers 9 out of 10 times
I wish the Saints got to play the Lions twice a year 2 free wins is nice

Hammerin Hank brought out a good stat this morning- the Saints have only averaged 19 points a game on the road. Brees isnt nearly as prolific away from the Dome. Not to mention the fact that the Saints D is ****** and he has to keep throwing all the time. Dont get all giddy because he threw 6 TD's against the worst team in football

Brees may keep the title, but Rodgers is going to close the gap this season

I will give you that the Saints D is very ****** and yes Brees had to throw alot cause they where always behind in games.
But wait the Pack finished last season 6-10 so you dont think they where behind in a lot of games so that Rodgers could pad his stats and pass the whole game?
In fact what happened to Ryan Grant he was Great with Favre and Sub par with Rodgers cause the Packers where passing all the time last season.
You mentioned Brees threw 6TDs against the Lions well in 2 games against the Lions in 2008 Rodgers threw 6Tds and he got 2 wins out of that.
No Offense Brother but you need to take your own advice and "Dont get all giddy because he threw 6 TD's against the worst team in football " quote Coach34

hmmm new defensive coordinator.....jump out to a large lead....Saints D didnt play bad today outside that first series and once they were up 21 and could just sit back and let everything happen in front of them.....

So Brees was 25-34 311 3-1 with a Rating of 118.6 away from the Dome and picked up the win versus a good team

Meanwhile, Green Bay QB Aaron Rodgers was 21-39 261 1-0 with a rating of 83.4 and lost to very poor team at HOME

So for the Season the Tale of the Tape =

Brees 51 of 68 for 669 yards 9TD 2 INT (NO 2-0) (1-0 H) (1-0A)
Rodgers 38 of 67 for 445 yards 2TD 0INT (GB 1-1) (1-1H)

So Brees has thrown just 1 more pass than Rodgers yet has 13 more completions and 224 more yards....

But just in case you want to throw the Green Bay runs the ball more therefore the stats are skewed:
NO: 64 Carries 290 yards
GB: 40 Carries 165 yards

hmmm right now Brees >>Rodgers
